Hello everyone! My name is Melissa Michelle, and I am a professional makeup artist and licensed esthetician.  I love human connection and creating custom looks that inspire you. Born in sweet tea territory (aka Alabama), I traded D.C. gogos for Texas tacos 7 years ago, landing in Austin. Makeup was my first love, and I started by slinging brushes for MAC Cosmetics as a freelancer. But California sunshine called, and I chased my dreams down to SoCal. Landed a sweet gig as Business Manager for Benefit Cosmetics at South Coast Plaza Mall, managing their biggest account - talk about high stakes and happy brows!

After crushing it, I flew high as a Regional Trainer for the West Coast, teaching other makeup artists how to slay the artistry and sales game. This journey taught me how to create gorgeous looks without the cakey drama, master shade matching for even the trickiest complexions, and wake up tired eyes like nobody's business.

Four years later, life took me to Washington D.C., and when the recession hit, I decided to turn lemons into lipstick (literally!). I launched "Melissa Michelle Cosmetics," my own makeup line, and thanks to word-of-mouth magic and savvy digital marketing, my business boomed year after year. I even snagged partnerships with ABC, BET, and Toyota, proving beauty knows no bounds!

From Basic Necessity Salon to video sets, photoshoots, and weddings, I've painted faces everywhere. Britney Spears, Faith Evans, Steve Harvey, Justine Skye - you name it, I've glammed it! All these experiences taught me one thing: every client matters. I'm all about empathy, flawless looks, and leaving you feeling like the star of your own show.
